About the speaker: Ian Roberts, MD

Ian Roberts is Professor of Cellular Pathology at the University of Oxford, UK, and Director of Renal Pathology for Oxford University Hospitals. He is President Elect of the BDIAP, previously Chair of the ISN Pathology Working Group and European Society of Pathology Nephropathology Working Group, and Past-President of the Renal Pathology Society. His research interests include IgA nephropathy and classification of glomerular diseases. He is a lead author of the Oxford Classification of IgA nephropathy and a lead pathologist for a number of international IgA nephropathy studies.
